I was wondering about her over Christmas and hoping that things turned out OK. I can't find the thread, does anybody know if she found there was an innocent explanation or not?

justcarrots29 · 13/01/2011 13:56

I was wondering about that one too...I hope it was innocent!

ShirleyKnot · 13/01/2011 13:57

can I whisper a question about a thread that I saw fleetingly over the xmas break about a lady who had lost her 4 babies and then the thread disappeared.

Was it a trolly Troll?

MommyMayhem · 13/01/2011 13:59

You mean I spent all of Christmas worrying about somebody who didn't actually bloody exist? You are effin' kidding me?!?

i recall that thread too - sim card. The barsteward! LOL

justcarrots29 · 13/01/2011 18:07

So was it definitely a troll?

MommyMayhem · 14/01/2011 04:18

I don't know, JC. I can't even find the thread now, but I really want to know how it ended.

I'd like to know too www.mumsnet.com/Talk/relationships/1108472-This-morning-I-have-found

AnotherMumOnHere · 14/01/2011 15:24

I saw it too and have wondered over the weeks .... but no update. Sad

upahill · 14/01/2011 15:28

I was going to post about this the other day!!

Was it a wind up then?

MommyMayhem · 15/01/2011 04:05

Not necessarily. I think ShirlyKnot was referring to another thread, the one with the woman who was supposedly having quads then they all died.

Not sure about this one, tbh. I am tempted to PM her to ask her about it, but that seems a bit stalkerish...

OP posts:
justcarrots29 · 15/01/2011 06:42

Pm her - and just put a link to this thread so she knows we have thought about her??

MommyMayhem · 15/01/2011 14:06

I would PM her, but I can't find the thread...

OP posts:
0karen · 15/01/2011 17:04

OK do not know what your all on about but wonder if this is the link

0karen · 15/01/2011 17:21

Take two

link

or was it this

one

upahill · 16/01/2011 11:11

The thread I was thinking about was the second one Okaren, the found SIM on the mantlepiece

exexpat · 16/01/2011 11:25

shirley - don't know about the sim one, but the quadmummy was very definitely a troll so the threads were deleted.

I must have been on MN too long, because the moment I saw the first post about expecting quads, a few days before Christmas, my first thought was 'oh, nicely set up for a 'tragedy' over Christmas'. And lo and behold....

CameronCook · 16/01/2011 11:31

I've wondered about that one too

amummyinwaiting · 16/01/2011 13:29

I wondered about the lady who's husband told her he had been made redundant but had been dismissed and she thought he'd had an affair and she was going to question him after work...I hope he wasnt havibg an affair.

stewmaker · 16/01/2011 13:32

amummyinwaiting it ended fine.........
he was accused of something he hadn't done but couldn't prove it i think..... IT hacking i think
it was deleted

amummyinwaiting · 16/01/2011 14:05

Ah thanks stewmaker-I looked for it the other day but couldn't find it- and thats good tht it wasn't an affair and he actually hadn't done anything wrong. Thnk you for letting me know!

exexpat · 16/01/2011 14:16

stewmaker - isn't that two separate threads? I think I remember reading both of them, but one was someone who had just found out from an email that her DH was resigning to preempt being fired, when he had told her he was being made redundant so she was going to have to ask him about it.

But the hacking one was someone whose DH had been fired a few years ago for hacking he said (and she generally believed) he hadn't done, but she was still working at the same company several years later and worried that her colleagues must believe her DH was guilty. Or something like that....

Not sure where either of those threads is or was, but I'm pretty sure they were two separate stories.

stewmaker · 16/01/2011 14:44

it was the first one. and i am sure when she confronted him that he had been accused of the hacking and had settled with the company to resign. (even though op said she didn't think he had the skills to do it)

not heard of the second one.

MommyMayhem · 17/01/2011 08:44

amummyinwaiting, that guy had been caught borrowing from petty cash. It wasn't much and he returned it, but he was found out. Luckily they let him take redundancy. The OP forgave him, and all ended well.
