I left my ex 18 months ago after a 7 year abusive relationship. I met someone else 6 months ago and we had been happily dating until he dumped me last night and Im going to miss him so much, he gave great cuddles!

Did u get any help getting over the abuse in the past,I had lots of issues re my marriage with my X and only starting to sort myself out now .Hard to let go of old patterns but we will get there

no patience, I had no help getting over the abuse, mainly because I never reported anything and was too frightened too. My confidence was beginning to grow again until friday night when it was announced completely out of the blue that he didnt want to see me anymore. Had a very sad tearful weekend but trying to be big and strong for my 2 DDs.

U dont have to report it to get help ,I had private counselling re my self esteem issues and now attend women's aid counsellor.Phone and have a chat with UR local WA just good to work on the past I found so I was more self aware,come over to the ditched thread if u ever want a chat/rant or support x
