Have only joined MNET few days ago - am hooked and wide awake due to DP's horrific snoring and 2 of my 4 DC taking it in turns to wake up - chicken pox, chest infections, colds etc are rife in my house...anyone out there to chat to ... about ANYTHING...AT... ALL?

It's so long ago.. have fuzzy distant memory of sleeping at night time though, but might have dreamt that lol!

Probably shouldn't lol at own jokes but I'll make exception for that one!

Off you pop, try & get some much-needed shut-eye, I will be logging off soon so don't stay on for me. Keep us posted as to how many hours kip you get...but it can't be a huge amount otherwise I will get jealous.

Sleep well.

Another one awake here, but I have just decamped to the spare room, leaving the feral grunters (dh and ds) to entertain themselves. Hoping for a few hours peace before the next feed .......

Zzzzzzzzzz

DozyDoll · 08/01/2011 05:14

Morning Marne and cjdamoo - I lied, really meant to log off but then DD3 woke up (wet), then DS with sore chicken pox spots and on and on... kids, eh?

cjdamoo - that's great. Was talking to my sister yesterday about how she and her DH really wished they'd emigrated to your neck of the woods. Where are you if you don't mind sharing and how long have you been there?

Im in Newcastle north of Sydney. A little coastal town. Ive been here 2 years and 2 months. I spent the first 2 years after the "holiday" feeling wore off hating it! I stuck it out because its been great for the kids. I realised recently that I am now happy and settled and enjoyed an ozzie christmas! We moved here cos Dh already had PR and wanted to come back to give the kids an different life from what they had in London.

Antidote · 08/01/2011 05:27

Dh is old enough to know better than to try engaging me in intellectual discourse at this time of night, and when feeding.

Ds is 12 weeks, and a greedy little guzzler who sleeps longer when not right next to the bar Grin

Antidote · 08/01/2011 05:31
