Just seen this on facebook. Can't articulate quite why it's not "so lovely" but ugh! It just seems really manipulative and creepy. I don't know S but I do know B which I guess is why it showed up on my feed. Not going to comment on it anyway.

theres a brilliant quote from someone I cant remember that gets bandied around on MN quite a lot - cos its true, along the lines of:

When someone tell you / shows you who they are you should believe them.

S is not very lovely.

Sxxx is horrible. How can anyone "like" this?

Mind you, there may be some long, convoluted conversation where this is somehow a joke. I've certainly had such feeds that look vile, but aren't, seen in context.

Translation: "I am very selfish, and don't value you enough to moderate my selfish (possibly quite nasty behaviour). You may be asking yourself, right now "Goodness, why am I with someone who doesn't respect me/love me enough to treat me well?" but let me tell you: This is as good as you are going to get. Because I "love" you (and you can fill that word "love", like an empty cardboard box, with all my crappy behaviour,) as much as someone as crap as you can expect to be "loved"/respected in this world."

ie. I will do a number on your self-confidence, until you feel so unworthy of love and respectful bahiour, you cannot crawl as far as the door, and will thank me for whatever, negative, attention, I throw your way.

Nope. Not lovely.

Maybe he's just watched too many crap mass-market films, though. And thinks he's being "cool". Idiot.
