Urgent advice needed please

My boyfriend is on holiday in Cape Town with his mum and dad.

He's just sent me a text telling me that he's been arrested and that he was allowed one call/text - he was trying to break up a fight and they think that he started it. Trust me when I say that he would never start a fight, but is very likely to be involved in breaking one up.

I'm at a loss as to what to do. I'm panicking, not that I can do anything, but nonetheless I'm really worried.

Can anyone offer any advice as to what will happen? Obviously I can't contact him - should I let his mum and dad know?

It affected him deeply from the first time he went, billybunter. He would live there if he could. Which is partly why I knew that he wouldn't have deliberately caused any trouble with the authorities - he knows the ways of SA and adores it.

Thank you for your advice Smile

So glad you've heard from him. What a relief Smile

Great news, please let us have the whole story (as much as you wish to share of course) when you've heard from him.

SA is indeed a beautiful country; Cape Town in particular is breathtaking.

Good news!

All is well Smile

He tried to break up a fight, the police arrived and he and the others were bundled into the back of the van and detained for questioning. Right across the other side of the city, so he had to walk back to the hotel and it took him about an hour...

Last night was one of the most stressful nights I've ever had, I think. I had a couple of hours dozing this afternoon, but I think an early night is in order Grin

Thanks again to all of you.
