I miss my DH

I am at home in Canada, 29 weeks pregnant with two kids. DH is visiting his Mum in the UK (where all my family are). She has breast cancer and is having a really rough time with chemo so I totally understand why he had to go but I miss him so much! Nightmares every night (in between heart burn and getting up to go to the loo) so I'm exhausted. 10 cm of snow yesterday and my 11 year old had to dig my car out for me! Feeling very pathetic and just wanted to moan a bit...

i broke my car today. it was -40 last night and my transmission went on the way to work. fortunately dh is here at the mo so i spent most of the day trying to tell him i'd left it in the middle of the road. Grin

this weather is v isolating when you have littlies and dh is away. i remember when mine were tiny and i wrote 'have gone to the airport' on the fridge in magnetic letters. Grin

when does he get back? my mum had breast cancer last year, and then had a relapse whilst we were here. the distance is v difficult.

as they say in all the best circles - it'll soon be christmas!

One more week to go.... His Mum feels guilty because he is visiting her and not with me and I feel guily for wishing he was here and not with her! But he will be home soon...
-40? How did you keep from freezing to death?

Moirasings - where in Canada are you? I could send my brother round to help with the car if he is close enough Grin
