Does any one have any romantic ideas for MEN?

Me and dp had a chin wag regarding valentines and I explicitly stated I wanted to be romanced and get something totally original and loving and romantic that a lot of thought has gone into (not that he's not romantic. He is)
I just get bored of the same old candlelit meal/flowers/chocolates/toys/sexy time Wink

To which, he came out with well in that case I expect to be romanced too! What fantastic, unique, original thing are you going to do to me?

I thought I was romantic....

So yes, any ideas?

I do have a few things in my head but just wanted other people's opinions please?
x

None that need 3 months' planning.

upahill · 21/11/2010 22:44

Valentines day is not approaching yet!!

(Blimey talk about long term plannning)

Ask me about Valentine's day on the 13th Feb.

solo · 21/11/2010 22:46

Think yourself lucky to be in a position to be bored with flowers/chocolates or candle lit meals etc...some of us haven't got someone that loves them enough to send us a card, let alone give them 'sexy time'.

Spanky100 · 21/11/2010 22:53

Good grief, I only wanted some friendly advice!!

LittleMissHissyFit · 21/11/2010 23:00

Would it be awfully rude of me to say "Oh FFS, it's not even frigging Christmas?"

Rindercella · 21/11/2010 23:02

^^ what Zachary said.

I did say earlier but once again, it came up in general conversation!!!

I didn't specifically start talking about the day, we were talking about something else entirely and it popped up in conversation.

Do you people never talk to your other halves?!

Infact, more to the point. Does anyone here even know what its like to be in a happy relationship?
Doesn't sound like it.

Miserable old lot!

I would take him on a long wintery wild walk, somewhere beautiful, and have a marvellous pub lunch by a log fire.

Honeydragon · 21/11/2010 23:17

Have asked dh this he said (and I quote)

"hmm romance for the committed male? A rapturous blow job induced thank you for crap flowers bought from the garage on the way home? That'd do it!"

I'm so proud.

Spanky100 · 21/11/2010 23:19

Thank you almost grownup and honeydragon :)

OP posts:
Rindercella · 21/11/2010 23:20

Spanky. So happy you're in such a happy relationship with your DH. Just because others do not share the same, erm, anticipation and enthusiasm for Valentine's Day (in November) that you do, does not mean that we're in unhappy relationships thank you very much.

Bear
Spanky100 · 21/11/2010 23:22

No but comments like...

'Think yourself lucky to be in a position to be bored with flowers/chocolates or candle lit meals etc...some of us haven't got someone that loves them enough to send us a card, let alone give them 'sexy time'.

Would rather suggest it in my opinion.

LittleMissHissyFit · 21/11/2010 23:24

Spanky100 · 21/11/2010 23:25
