For many of us who have suffered dysfunctional and abusive childhoods, the children we were have been subjugated. Whether made to perform, grow up too quickly or keep a low profile, their needs have been shut away.
So, as an extension of the SH thread, I thought people might benefit from a space which welcomes our inner children.

Make this space whatever you want it to be. Let your imagination run free. If your inner child needs to express feelings that's okay too.

If you want a hug or to borrow Rufus again, let me know :)

I want to stop feeling so frightened all the time but I don't know how :(

You know what I do when I get scared? I imagine that if it's a person that scares me, that they are sat on the toilet with their trousers round their ankles while wearing a big 'ole clowns nose....they look so funny in my head when I do that and then I don't get scared any more.

If it's something else that scares me, I try to do that Harry Potter spell, Rikiulus and turn it into the funniest thing I can think of and then that doesn't scare me any more either. Maybe that would work for you too?

Maybe you could read a story to us later? I like reading sometimes but today I'm a soldier and soldiers are too busy fighting monsters to read but it's okay if you read it to ud because that's different

Owwwww!!!!!!! I have a toothache :(

The dentist man said I need to take some pills but they're yucky and he said I have to have some sort of shield in my mouth because I pretend to eat too many things when I'm dreaming.

I asked him how I would fit a shield in my mouth when they look so big on knights in shining armour but he couldn't tell me the answer, stupid dentist.

I think I'm just going to sit here and wait for the icky pills to make the pain go away again :(
