have obviously name changed for this (am part of a long running thread and know some of the people in RL so would be mortified for them to read this and recognise it was me!)

dh have been married 12 years and despite 3dc have a good sex life - do it regularly enough for the 2 of us, i have enough orgasms and we're open to trying to spice things up a bit.

we've talked often about buying "sex toys" but he doesnt want to go to a local shop as he's got a decent job locally and would be mortified if he met anyone he knew. so we said maybe we should order some stuff off the internet.

any hints on what we should buy? i was thinking of a vibrator + whatever but there are millions of vibrators on the market!

any ideas welcome!

Have a look on the lovehoney website, unfortunately with something like vibrators, you have to try them before you know how effective they are.

Maybe something multifunctional like a g-spot vibe or a decent bullet?

GiganGORE · 29/10/2010 21:00

there are literally thousands of vibes out there. if of course you want a vibe and not a dildo.

what do you want to use the toy for? is it to use on you/him? do you want it to use whilst also having sex together or as a form of foreplay? do you want it for penetration or just clitoral stimulation?

whattobuy · 29/10/2010 21:03

thats the trouble malificence - i've not had a vibrator since well before i met dh and thankfully technology has moved on! but its obviously something we want to use together.

thanks for that website link - will have a good look!

think as foreplay gigangore - and definitely something that vibrates! and def for clitoral stimulation - thats what i enjoy most during foreplay. think it would be more used on me but could possibly be used on him.

but that doesnt help me narrow it down! think i'll have to read some reviews on these websites!

This is great for adding a bit of spice to penetrative sex. He wears it like a cock ring but you feel the vibration against your clit as he penetrates you.

This one is great for use together as it has a long handle so that you have a bit more space. and he does't feel as though he is getting in the way.

or you can obviously go for a typical fallic shaped one of your choosing.

Ordering online is a lot safer and easier than before. As MalificenceBloodandSand mentioned LoveHoney.co.uk is the best though there are plenty of alternatives out there, SexToys.co.uk and Simply Pleasure to name but a few.

If you're looking for a vibrator you really can't go wrong with the Pocket Rock it might look a little scary but trust me it's the greatest. If you don't believe me read the reviews.

If you want to add a little spice to both his and yours sex try out a vibrating cock-ring.

If you'd like to treat him to his own sex toy (yes men are allowed to have their own sex toys!) then you can't go wrong with a TENGA Flip Hole (not the greatest name, I know!) some men love Fleshlights but they can be a little daunting for a beginner.

Let me know if you have any questions.

I highly recommend Ben Wa balls.

My dp, wants to us (me) a pussy pump, it's like a plastic cup that goes over the front porch (vulva) and is connected to a vacuum pump, that draws the air out of cup, making the labia swell alarmingly. I have a curious impulse to go for it, but I am concerned about any long lasting side effects.

Likewise, he is also keen for to try clitoris pumping, again, I am interested, but have the same reservations.

Have anyone tried these and what do they think?

Lucy
