I have just read an aticle in the Telegraph about a Chiliean miner (Yonni Rojas) and how he has both a wife and mistress. Yonni asked both to meet him when he was rescued. The wife declined and he was greeted by his mistress. Obviously this has been a life changine experience for this man. Have you ever had such a life changing experience that it changed your life, and was it for the better or did you regret it? Who will Yonni choose his wife (of 28 years) or his mistress of 5? Would love to hear all of your stories.

Are you a journalist?

This reads like "I need case studies for my pitch/feature!"

Jezebel.com say it was his mistress of 10 years so you might want to check out the facts.

Pretty horrible all round and the wife had the good grace to behave honourably I thought. Love the comment that said out of one hole and into another...

These miners will now become celebrities and with it obtain wealth and status, hence I think, why all sorts of people will want a little piece of the action. No doubt his mistress will have a story to sell. There is much more to this and Mr Rojas isn't the only one to face these, ahem, difficulties.

No, I'm not a journalist, I was just interested to see if others had such life changing experiences, well not as extreme, and whether it had changed them. I also wondered if this miner was wondering should I stick with wife, or new life with mistress?

TThe only life changing experience I have had was losing my mother at 10 years of age, and it did change my life. I realised that all that mattered in life was love, as I had lost the greatest love of my life.

I was about to reply this, then I thought "???!!!"
This is a website dedicated to mothers. Guess what life-changing experience most of its members have had? Wink
