My DP not father of my DC (x2) has just called my DS (aged 7) a pig and greedy for filling his cereal bowl to the top. He ate it all. So why say such a nasty thing to him? I am feeling so cheesed off.

Is that a normal response from your DP to your children? or a one off?

MooMooFarm · 06/10/2010 10:13

That's what I was going to ask - and also, did he say it in a jokey way (ie you little piggy!) or in a snotty one? If it's the latter I would pull him up on it and ask him not to speak to your children in that way again.

was he jealous cause no cereal left for him if so then your son should have not ate it all.If not your DP has a problem..Should not have had a go at ur son.

It's only the start.. you have to put rules in place for your DP and let him know that is not acceptable to speak too your son like that.
