Following that care progamme on TV tonight, I was wondering if anyone else was in care, and whether they went to uni, got a good job etc. or not.
I went to uni, it was a massive struggle (mostly financially) but I was really determined to do it, and did. I worked for a couple of years, then did a PGCE and now I'm a teacher.
As the statistics are so low for care leavers going into Higher Education, I was just wondering what other people's experiences are.
