What does it mean when...

a guy kisses you on the forehead? This has happened twice. And we have only had the quickest of pecks on the lips. But I reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelly like him and have seen him twice now and am wondering why he hasn't tried to kiss me properly? Is this a bag sign? And what's with the forehead thing??

I thought it could be the nervous thing, but he is such a confident and popular guy!

But yeah he is really nice, and kind of old-fashioned. I would really like if it was because he was nervous! That would be kind of sweet. Seeing him this weekend and if he still doesn't then it might change from sweet to disturbing though ?

He can be nervous as well as confident and popular; sometimes even more so. What's stopping you turning the kiss on the forehead into something better?

And putting my 'positive hat' on.. maybe he is nervous cause he is really into you and doesnt want to wreck things? As the OldLady said... confident and popular people still care about things that they really want to work.

That's intriguing actually.

What's stopping me stems from the fact that I'm much too shy and also lacking confidence/experience. And that he hasn't tried has made me feel like he doesn't fancy me/like me in that way which has added to the insecurity. But annoyingly I also quite like the fact that he hasn't even though I want him to.

But no one has ever kissed me on the forehead before which I just find a bit random like he's trying to tell me something..

Really want to study body language now.

I would LOVE that Footlong. He went to a swiss boarding finishing type school which maybe made him a bit too wary about etiquette...??

Only really one way to find out, just push things along at a pace you feel comfortable with, enjoy the ride with a guy whom, even if doesnt work, will be nice to you. Just enjoy the ride, dont over think it.

Ah that's really sweet - I think it means he reeeeeeeeeeally likes you too, and doesn't want to mess up by going in for a snog too soon. Like others on here have said, next time he does it, grab him round the back of the head and snog his face off!

Haha yes I second that MooMooFarm!

I think he is either really into you - kissing heads is sort of 'special'. It's where I love to kiss my DD and I wouldn't kiss the head of someone I didn't truly love.

OR it could be nerves...refer back to MooMooFarm Wink

Ahhh I think he sounds lovely and I do like the sound of a man who has been to a Swiss finishing school Smile.

He simply sounds like a real gent who doesn't want to ruin things by going straight in for the kill..

Enjoy it but as others have said, maybe push things along a little bit at your pace and see how he reacts.

FiaGrace I will definitely do that to see how he reacts! I'm quite excited now! Also I like that too! He went to Le Rosey (hope he never comes on here so that he can read this)

and Professor I'm about 5"8 and he is maybe 6"2 or 6"3? But I was in 4 or so inch heels..

and MooMooFarm hahaha definitelyyy! I am going to go for it! I hope he reeeeally likes me as I think he is absolutely perfect in every way.

Okayyy.. I DID GO FOR IT!!! Oh my god it was amazing. And that is the first time I have made the move which obviously I can't be 100% sure was the right thing to do but at the end of the day what's done is done and I can't change it now. And I thought it was amazing so that's all that matters to me (for now at least). I think/hope (more hope) that it went well but only time will tell....
