I think he has a vague idea of what a slapper I was before I met him but I'm never going to tell him

crazydazy · 06/09/2005 19:47

I always tell him something was cheaper than it actually was too.

I never tell him when I have taken sneaky tenner out of the bank for some things I need too.

Lonelymum · 06/09/2005 19:48

I don't tell my dh my sexual fantasies

Skate · 06/09/2005 19:49

I lie about whether I've been on here or not.

I might reduce the price of a new item!

There are a few family things and a couple of things about an ex that I wouldn't tell anyone, not even dh - not really because they are terrible secrets, just because it's not my information to share iyswim.

I bought some maternity clothes on the internet and they are hidden in the back of the wardrobe.

I am not pregnant by the way.

I haven't told him how much his breath STINKS in the morning.

LOL to the last 2 posts !! DH & I sadly experienced x2 mc before we conceived dd (now 16 weeks), these mc made me even more determined to get pregnant & also to buy baby clothes !!! So once we found out dd was on her way out came all the clothes I had bought, all 4 years worth ..Mmm there are some things you just can't hide !! DH was brilliant though & yes all the clothes did come in use. How lucky was I that she was a girl! .

Yup I also tell dh that:

a. some things were cheaper than they actually were

b. That I have had that item for ages (Mmm I prob have, but this is the first time I have worn it )

c. Once back from shopping I sometimes hide the items until he is out, then I bring the item/s out & put them away...! ....

Its madness that it's us women who feel guilty, in my case I buy lots of clothes shoes bags etc but very rarely (usually x1 or x2 a year) do I buy an expensive, designer item...DH wouldn't think twice about buying a designer shirt for £150 or shoes for £200..prob the amount I spend on clothes in a year!

He thinks you can buy Chanel nail varnish for under a fiver.

butty · 07/09/2005 16:18

I don't tell him how much i spend on my 2 nights out per week or actually how much i have drunk!!!!
I feel he may find it emabrassing that he is a lightweight compared to his fionce!!!! Not that i'm proud of it, far too expensive to get drunk and sing karaoke!!!!!!!

But very worth while for time out and a catch up with friends.!!
