The woman who wrote that is still very hurt, angry and bitter. It isn't true of every marriage.

I love my dh to bits and would be devastated to lose him. And he's no angel, he's disappointed me in the past but you have to be realistic enough to know it isn't all going to be easy. A lot of it is wonderful, though.

If some day leaves me I will be hurt and angry too, but it won't change the fact that of the past 7 1/2 years that I've spent with him, I've been very happy most of the time. He's helped me become the best me I can be.

I hope one day the woman who wrote the article will find someone who makes her happy. I've been where she is and I value what I have even more for knowing what the other end of the stick is like.
