Dh dreamed about another woman....

He told me today although his dream was a couple of nights ago

I know he cant control his dreams, but do you think it means he wants someone else? He said he didnt know the woman and i was in the dream too.

(it was a rude dream)

I just laughed it off, but am wondering now whether i should be worried, jealous, worried that im not jealous (does that mean i dont love him like i should?) or is it normal that men dream like this?

And what was the point in him telling me?

I have had a few weird dreams about other blokes. Means nothing to me and I have told DH, dont know why, see no reason to hide it.

Um...do you NEVER have dreams about other men?!! I had a very nice one about Neil Oliver (long haired one from Two Men in a Trench and Coast) the other night. Phwoar!!!

I dreamt of the 2 blokes from Nip/Tuck last night .. like together .. ... and I told DH about it .. he's just narked that they get more action than he does

Im not upset about it really i dont think, but its playing on my mind a bit.

It was a dream. He can't control his dreams any more than you can control yours. If he does it in real life then you can kick his arse from here to kingdom come, but dreams aren't reality.

It's not something you should be worrying about. I have to say, though, if you would have gone mad at him for having a dream then I would say you have (or had) a jealous streak that you need to keep under control.

I did used to have a jealous streak that took me a while to get under control.

I suppose i should be pleased with myself really for not getting mad?

and i guess its good that he knows he can say stuff like that to me knowing that im not gonna get all moody and insecure

do you have an open relationship (talking freely I mean) and do you feel secure with and loved by your dh. I ask because if I thought dh was having dreams like that (and maybe he is) I would take it as more confirmation of us not getting on as we are not really at the moment and hardly ever touch each other. I'm not saying this is your case of course but I think feeling insecure about dreams etc... is more a symptom of not being sure of the other's love. Having said that I dreamt of a nameless/faceless person the other night and in my case I think it's just because I am pissed off that I am not getting that kind of attention from dh at the moment - I am pregnant and because of our kids being overattached (my fault) hardly ever sleep in the same bed together . He also never discusses any relationship issues other than to tell me that how childish he thinks I am bores him. Sorry, I know this thread is not supposed to be a confessional relationship type one, but if you are getting on fine with your partner and hugging etc... I would count your lucky stars that he feels comfortable enough to tell you about a dream like that.

My boyfriend should be partcularly worried as i dreamt i shagged my brother
