Internet dating red flags.

I've just started internet dating with Match. What are the warning signs that someone isn't right?

I've met someone with a 17 month old son. Is it just me or is that a sign that he's moving on too soon as he can't have split up with his dp that long ago.

I have to laugh at some of the cheesy photos that some men post. dosn't always put me off though!

Avoid men who say they want kisses and cuddles or any other needy weird type behaviour .
Avoid those who say they love you within a week.
Those who slag off their wives saying everything was her fault
Those that pester you for your phone number or ask you how big your boobs are.
Those that dont see their kids
Anyone who asks you to do their washing or other weirdo favours.
And of course ,anyone whos married or blatently a twat.

He could have spit up with his partner any time in the last 17+9 months. She could have used him to get pregnant and then dumped him. She could have been a psycho bitch from hell.

He could have dumped her when pregnant and shagged around without recours He could have left her with a few-weeks old baby because he couldn't be arsed to be a dad.

Or they might just have got stayed together for the baby and tried to make it work but realised they just weren't right for each other. H might be a devoted father who sees his baby on a regular basis, and always makes his maintenance payments on time.

You don't know unless you ask.

I'd definitely be wary, but wouldn't see it as a flag if there weren't any other issues. He might volunteer the background himself, otherwise I think I would gently ask after a while.

My ex's relationship was breaking down while his wife was pregnant - they both agreed to split up when their youngest was a year old.

Agree with the list of red flags that dignified posted. Also anyone who gets smutty too soon (like before you've met). Or appears angry/bitter/resentful.
