Let's hear it for the boy!!!!!!!

i've been quite down on dh lately because he's been grumpy etc. It's time for a change.inspired by that fab 80's song..let's hear it for our boys. what does your other half do that makes you happy?

my dh always makes me feel desirable and sexy, even when i know i look a bit of a dog.
he's fab with our sons.

mine does loads and loads, when he gets up for work he kisses me and tells me how beautiful i look, even though im 37wks pregnant and look like a whale! he's brilliant with our dd and helps out when ever he can even though hes really stressed at work atm.

He also shows that he appreciates me and the effort im putting in with the house etc when im so heavily pg - i know a lot of men would expect the house to be immaculate even if their wife had just given birth cause they really are that selfish and stupid!

im happy when he's happy and at the min we're both really happy so life is cool, even though im a bit scared of the birth of our baby getting closer.............

Mine is out of the house 12 hours a day working and commuting. He phones me every lunchtime to make sure I'm okay. When he gets home he gives ds his bath and puts him to bed. At weekends he potters around doing laundry and loading the dishwasher. He never has an evening out without me without asking me if I mind.

The best thing is that even when I am depressed and grumpy he always does his best to make me feel wanted and loved.

I am married to his brother, with the exception of the lunch time phone call.

We are lucky girls.

DH does loads - especially hoovering & gardening. Always tells me he loves me, that I'm gorgeous & cute and sexy (even though I look like a hairy beached whale at 31 weeks pg) and always has time to cuddle me while I moan about what a crap day at work I've had because my boss drives me mental.

I think my dh is fantastic. Even when I am feeling fat, frumpy, unattractive and generally yuck, he still tells me I'm sexy and makes me feel it too. He has taken all week off work so he could be around for dd's first day at school and because he knew I'd be tieing myself in knots over it. He has 4x the patience I have with the kids, even after a long day at work. And each day when he gets in from work, he listens to me moan for 10 minutes before taking the children up for a bath and gets them ready for bed while I have some mn time. On Wednesday, he let me go into the Cadbury outlet shop and spend nearly a tenner!!!!He is cooking a curry for me tonight. I love my dh. He's fab

Mine always makes sure I have enough clean pants in my drawer (and even when half of the ones he puts in the drawer actually belong to our 2 year old daughter it makes me feel like I must be TINY even though my pants could comfortable accommodate the Moscow State Circus).

Mine is fab - he helps with all the housework, is brilliant with dd, has pretty much single handedly decorated the whole house (on my demand) whilst I've been pregnant. He gives me cuddles when I sit and cry for no real reason. He works hard and lets me have lie in's.

Most of all he make me laugh.

I could go on and on - I love my dh!!!!

we hear so much about grotty men, it's lovely that so many are so wonderful!

Mine is helping me get fit. He is working me extrememly hard every day and i'm actually listening and taking note of his constructive critism.

mine made me a card for our anniversary. he wanted to get all 'smart' for our date at the hospital, but instead we slobbed out with takeaway and he was in his pj's. he has also arrnaged to have flowers sent to me on birthdays/valentines day/any special day from his hospital bed. the man is a star!!

Cup of tea in bed every morning - it's the little things!

mine does the dishwashing and makes breakfast every morning, while i breastfeed. he also makes me laugh loads and is so in love with our ds even though he didn't quite feel ready to start a family yet and i pressured him to do it because i was feeling old...

Mine is such a wonderful dad. I think he has even surprised himself! I have had a rotten cold the last two days and he has taken over all the childcare (except breastfeeding, now that would be impressive) and is now bathing ds, bless him...

I love my DH, He....

Works all the hours god sends so we can have a beautiful house, super hols, private ed (for the DD's) etc.

Comes home and cooks gourmet dinners for me.

Fancies me even when I wear baggy old jogging bottoms and T-shirt

Takes me out for dinner whenever I ask

Lets me use his taxi account

Never questions the amount I spend on DD's clothes...Johnny B has a lot to be gratefull for.

Never complains when the house is in a state, been playing in the park all day.

Always surprises me with super imaginative original birthday/X-mas/Anniversary pressies.

Looked after DD's so I could swan off to NY to see my sister for a week.

I could go on forever....

My DH is the best.

My DH is fab! he is always loving. He does loads around the house without being asked, is very cuddly, keeps me financially and works long hours at a job he hates so I can go to college and realise my dreams (while he has put his on hold- I did offer though). If I need him he's there instantly, he always defends me, and loves me so much it's incredible. When I was PG with DS1 he fought hard to get me the care I needed when I was so sick, and let me lie in every morning to build my strength back up when the hyperemesis passed. With DS2 he basically raised our son whilst I spent 5 months comatose on the sofa with HG medications doping me up.

He gets bad depression which is upsetting sometimes and hard, but I love him more than enough for that to be OK! he's great.

ok here's some more things my dh does.only mentioned a couple when starting this thread.

if he is at home he changes ALL the nappies!
he works really hard to support us all and enables me to be a sahm to our sons.
he often brings me little presents; a book he's seen that he thinks i would like, a cd of a song i've heard on the radio and said i liked.tonight he came home from work with a lovely bunch of roses and lilies. thoughtful things.

he doesn't mind coming shopping with me.
he's kind to my parents.
he's just lovely and i don't know what i would do without him. he's definitely my best friend as well my loverrr!

Sometimes we need to remind ourselves just how lucky we are!

My Dh has always supported all my ambitions and even now as SAHM he wants me to be active, nappy changing, bathtime, filling dishwasher, ironing his shirts for work, sending me out for odd evenings supported me through PND and waited for me to come back from that dark place with love and support.

this evening took the Dc and did the weekly shop for me. (needed time to myself) came home cooked tea, and but all the outdoor stuff away. Could I ask for anyone better
