Anyone else got their libido back after partner's vasectomy?

Dh went for a vasectomy a few weeks back, mutually agreed as we feel our family is complete.

I have had issues with my sex drive since giving birth to my first child 8 years ago,I have 4 now and my youngest is 18 months.

Since dh had his little op- I feel so much closer to him. I want to be more intimate with him all the time. Not just sex, but kissing cuddles etc etc.

But:

on the other hand I am nearing 30- and I read women experience a naturally higher sex drive when they reach this age.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Oh yes! yes! yes! But seriously...after hitting 40 I have been sex-crazed. I did read that your body is trying to make good use of your last little wrinkled up eggs so turns you into a sex maniac for a bit. It's great, but only when you have a man of course which I don't at the moment....

Can't remember a big change at 30, but then I had just got married so it was all downhill from there..lol!

I did have an increase in my sex drive at 30 for about 6 months. However maybe the fact that you can no longer get pregnant makes you more up for it :)
