Is this common, rare or quite bizarre - warning controversial

If the published statistics on adult web sites are to be believed then one of the favourite catagories is those showing spanking/caning and similar.

Does this mean that most DH's would like to do this sort of thing to us - consensually obviously - and do we ever agree?

I have been caned by DH and very recently too - have a look at my post last Sat at 09:09:49 for details. Tis fair to say that this was the first time for ages but like riding a bike once mastered the basics are never forgotten.

I have always thought of myself as pretty boring in the relationships area and I am feeling rather proud of myself that I/we do something out on the fringes!

Talking of proud I am proud of DH over this. It is a very strong willed man who knows when to stop and then does. The temptation to "just do a few more" or "just a bit harder" is very strong. He has never let me down.

A quick word about riding crops. I think we must be talking about two different things here because I would think that a cane would be more likely to damage than the crop we used. Perhaps it was something different. About 30 inches long and 1/2 inch think and fairly bendy?
