Hi all, back again after lots of you gave me great advice in the ?Austrich? thread.

Have decided that def. can?t carry on the way I am and now looking into all the practicalities of leaving my relationship.

I?ve started to look around for suitable properties to rent on my own but this could take a while as need to be able to afford it and find somewhere where I?m allowed to keep the cat.

Keep getting stuck on the timing of it all as well. To explain, at the moment DP and I live in a one bedroom house which is tiny.

Sooo, as soon as I tell him I want to end the relationship the awkwardness etc that comes with a situation like that will start plus there?s nowhere to sleep other than the bedroom we share if you know what I mean.

I don?t want to be really horrible to him and wait until I?m all sorted and then go, ?right I?m off? since he won?t be able to afford to stay on in the house by himself.

Oh god, just realised I don?t even know what I?m asking really, does anyone understand where I?m coming from?

Anyone able to pour some more MN wisdom on me/kick me up the proverbial ?

Much appreciated as always.

The Austrich :)
