Work Colleague

I've known my colleague for 8 years and we are really good friends.

Towards the end of last year he told me he has always fancied me. At the time I was flattered but laughed it off as I never saw him in that way and we are both married.

Today we were alone in the office when he tried to kiss me. I was a bit Shock and screamed.

We had the talk about just being friends and he said he was ok with that Hmm.

How can I make the situation less awkward at work?

Tell him you'll report him for sexual harassment if it continues. And stop being friends with him.

Be totally business-like with him from now on. In fact, not really good friends any more, retreat a little into being his work colleague. The more talks you get into about your "friendship" the more you give an illusion of intimacy.
