And so can I, I'm sure! I just don't know how to handle it when some days he just runs on and on, getting snappy and being totally un-charming. I just want him to stop talking sometimes!

Anyone agree or am I just an old bag?

My DH can be like that. I'm a venter - if I'm grumpy I have to have it out there and then until I feel better. DH, on the other hand, stores up his gripes until eventually he either snaps and we have a big row or he behaves just like you've described for a day.

When he gets like that, I call him on it and tell him to either tell me what's wrong or take himself elsewhere until he cheers up! I can't be doing with sulking...
