Holiday without H

HI

Won't bore you all with the details but relationship with DH has been rocky for some time now. Have posted before, mainly in relationship to his drinking, but there are a whole load of other issues too.

anyway, another big row yesterday afternoon after what had been a reasonable week. He is now adamant that's it and he will not be coming with me and DD on a planned holiday from Weds for a week (in Spain). He is of the view that we end things now.

Been up half the night. To be honest, I'm tempted just to do nothing and go on holiday without him but it'll upset DD who is 12. Would you go?

Definately - it'll upset her more not going. Tell your DD that he has to stay here as something has come up at work and get yourselves on that plane to sunny spain Smile

If it's over then whether DH comes or not is irrelevant and if it is definately over then he can move out whilst your away.

You sound resigned to the end of your relationship with him.

if you go alone then it could be better than going with him and having fights the whole time. Very sorry to hear about your troubles.

Thanks for your support everyone _ I will definately go. Months ahead will be difficult so think DD and I need a break now

THanks again

It will give hm the space to move out while you are away and it will be done and dusted by the time you get back.

LittleMissHissyFit · 08/08/2010 09:23

GO! you need the break, and sounds like so does he.

I don't know what your H is like, but mine is a lot of bluster, and thinks that I'd cave in if he threatened me with calling time on the relationship. He's since learnt how untrue that is...

It always does them good for us to give a fair toss of the hair, a never mind, and off you trot on your holiday without him. usually sharpens their mind a little once they realise that you can go on perfectly well without them, where as mostly they can't go on without us...

Missnevermind, did someone wee in your cornflakes love? Grin

Definitely go. Your dd would surely be even more upset if you stayed at home and spent the time arguing with your H. Leave him alone to sulk.
I'm planning to take my ds away for a week on our own too. Have fun.

Definately go.
