Mine is... cant afford to leave him...wish he were dead..want to kill him. Am I alone is this or do all women feel the same at some point?

OP posts:
ssflower · 06/08/2010 22:39

LOL! Felt the same at lots of points - am now separated and feel fab!

CaptainKirksNipples · 06/08/2010 22:41

It depends. Do you have a good job? It might be worth hitting him as hard as you can but only once, case in the news just now the husband only got 18 months and won't serve it all because he was a professional man!

stripeywoollenhat · 06/08/2010 22:45

Hmm just try imagining this thread with different pronouns, ffs.

HerBeatitude · 06/08/2010 22:46

Ah I think you need to be a man killing your wife for that to work Captain.

The other way round it wouldn't...

I had only got to the point where I fantasised about him having a tragic accident like being killed by a hit and run driver on a zebra crossing and me being a tragic widow in an elegant black dress having lost a stone in weight.

I hadn't actually got to the point of wanting to kill him myself. Split with him before I reached that milestone, I realised that fantasising about me being slim beautiful elegantly clad widow at funeral was not the sign of a healthy relationship...

HerBeatitude · 06/08/2010 22:48

I knew someone would come on and say that Stripey.

And the answer with the different pronouns would be... yes.

The OP is obviously not planning to kill her DH.

Everyone wants to kill the people they live with at some point. Normal people don't though, do they? They just say they do.

quaere · 06/08/2010 22:48

If you were a rich man, I'd say go for it, you'll probably be out by Xmas - see this article

HerBeatitude · 06/08/2010 22:51

That was a very odd case quaere.

I can only suppose tht the bloke did a really good job of looking distraught and remorseful.

I thought it was unlikely that he hit her like tht as a one off without a history of violence there to begin with, but I suppose it is possible. The judge obviously thought so.

CaptainKirksNipples · 06/08/2010 22:51

True sadly HerBeatitude...

exactly the case I was talking about quaere.

stripeywoollenhat · 06/08/2010 22:56

imagine if this was a thread about offing your missus on one of those blokes'r'us kind of sites for a moment...

i am sorry, op, though, that you are living with someone you loathe, hope you can find a way out.

HerBeatitude · 06/08/2010 23:16

Hmm, well the the wierdos on the male site are statistically more likely to act on their mad rantings, Stripey,
4% of male homicide victims are killed by their partners/ ex-partners, compared with 42% of female homicide victims. So it's unlikely the OP is going to go and do her DH an act of violence. But I agree, it is not a Good Thing to feel such venom for someone you live with, it must make for a horrible atmosphere and it's bad for everyone in that household. Do you regularly feel like this OP, or is this just a late night rant? Can it be fixed?

fairycake123 · 07/08/2010 01:38

//cant afford to leave him//

But jail is free.

ElephantsAndMiasmas · 07/08/2010 01:46

you can afford to leave him, if you are married and the main carer AFAIK you will get to live in the house until the kids grow up.

Living with someone you hate is not fair on either of you, and def not fair on the DC.

Just get out of there, there will be a way.

solo · 07/08/2010 01:46

I wanted to murder my 1st exh whilst we were married...He committed suicide last year and I've never felt so bad, so be careful what you wish for. And no, I definitely didn't still hold a candle for him after all the abuse and 20 years of being apart.

gibbberish · 07/08/2010 01:51

solo Sad

KickArseQueen · 07/08/2010 01:52

Alison. When the good times outweigh the bad times be happy, When the bad times outweigh the good,,, be gone.

From your last thread you don't want to be with him any more, sticking around with a knob ( if he really is that bad) isn't going to help your kids now or in the future.

You are intelligent and you know this stuff.

solo · 07/08/2010 01:52

Sad but true gibbberish...how are you?

gibbberish · 07/08/2010 01:54

am fine ta Smile

life is hectic but currently good. you?

aurynne · 07/08/2010 03:02

"How many women have got away with murdering thier DH's because they are complete tossers?"

Many. We just don't hear about them, because they got away with it.

SomeGuy · 07/08/2010 04:15

4% of male homicide victims are killed by their partners/ ex-partners, compared with 42% of female homicide victims.

it varies a fair bit from year to year, because the number of homicides in any given year is relatively low so big changes can happen quite easily.

However, last year 101 women were killed by their partners, and 31 men, the year before it was 78 women and 36 men. Pretty rare - and the detection rate for homicide is pretty high, relatively few people get away with it.

HerBeatitude · 07/08/2010 22:16

I was once told by a man who worked for Special Branch, that the way to get away with murder was to make it look like an accident or suicide.

So really, although we think relatively few homicides are unsolved, there may be a few suicides/ accidents in there that have gone undetected as homicides.

AlisonDubois · 07/08/2010 22:35

So many fantastic replies. Sorry I have'nt replied to any, but I've been busy all day, chopping my DH up into lots of little pieces.
Oh shit, that was just wishful thinking...can't you tell the footy season has started again?

OP posts:
soontobe43 · 07/08/2010 23:33

Is that how you are gonna do it then? chop him up.
I am going to hire an industrial mincer, make him into burgers, have a barbeque and serve him up to his mum. She has a really good appetite!!!!
