Do you have / wear... erm... 'costumes?'

I have in the past done the 'sexy secretary' thing for dh, but nothing post dd, and I would like to order a saucy costume and surprise him.

Is there anything that you or your other half wear in the bedroom for the sexy sexy?!

I am considering sexy cowgirl, however any of that sexy nun shite is just so wrong.

Maybe I could do french maid and get some of the dusting done at the same time. Maybe dh could do nekkid male au pair and get some washing up done at the same time? The neighbours might stare though...

(I promise I am a regular and not a 14yr old boy, it is school hols and all that, I know)

I find that dressing like an unemployed slob drives him wild. Luckily.

Nemofish · 30/07/2010 11:28

BoF - your name is very appropriate for this thread!

I dress like a unemployed retraining hippy which has been good for dh so far. Tbh the dressing up is more for my confidence than for him - see I am no longer 'Mummmmeeeee' I am 'Sexy Cowgirl Woman - Yeeehah!' etc.

I was thinking about this the other day... so interested to see the replies!

Not really dressed up as such, but I do have a collection of sexy undies which dh adores. Basques, stockings, suspenders that kind of thing.

Ann Summers has a sale on by the way! Might be worth a look.

Malificence · 30/07/2010 11:53

DH likes the Burlesque look and I've just found some steampunk corsets that will drive him wild being the geek that he is .
He's easily pleased, basque/stockings and high heels put a smile on his face.

I'd feel stupid in a fancy dress type costume, DH would just laugh if I wore a rubber nurses dress, so the totally wrong reaction!
I've always fancied the wild west bordello look myself or a Victorian style nightie, for a bit of "housemaid" roleplay .

GetOrfMoiLand · 30/07/2010 11:56

No. I can't be arsed with all that shite.

If DP was the type to be excited by nylon undies with zips, well, he would be out of luck.

Rafwife · 30/07/2010 12:05

Well I usually go in for heels, basque, stockings dh is quite simple like that.

I like it too it makes me feel good, if I am having a fat day and we don't use it all the time.

I do have a pvc nurses outfit, it was fun, I think mainly for the fact it was kind of slippery and ahemmmmm wipe clean .

Way too hot to make it a regular thing though.

Malificence · 30/07/2010 12:06

It just makes a change from being naked, I'd be VERY pleased should DH decide to dress up as a gladiator, all that leather and oiled up pecs!

NinaJane · 30/07/2010 12:34

I dress up like a school girl (teenage, not pre-teen [before I get flamed]). Long socks, black shoes, short pleated skirt, white shirt, hair in a ponytail and no underwear. It is my fantasy, not so much my hubby's.

BarefootShirl · 30/07/2010 13:23

I find that dressing as a naturist usually has the desired effect - although when I look in the mirror I sometimes worry about his eyesight

If I buy a particularly nice pair of heels, DH always says they will look good when resting on his shoulders.

Pandora's choice is a very good underwear website, very classy retro stuff.

Wanttofly · 30/07/2010 15:23

I have a sexy Mrs. santa outfit but its a once a year thing with us

I like to dress up DH just not bothered.

mamadoc · 30/07/2010 15:33

DH is very sad that Drs don't wear white coats to work anymore so I keep one in the wardrobe for special occasions to be worn with heels and nice undies only

TheMoistWorldOfSeptimusQuench · 30/07/2010 15:38

What does steampunk mean?

omnishambles · 30/07/2010 15:39

its sort of victoriana SQ.

rosieposey · 30/07/2010 15:48

Its when you make new things look old fashioned. I LOVE dressing up - sadly since having DS its all gone a bit 'once every two weeky' and dressing up is reserved for when we can be arsed to make the effort (not much of late).

Feel sure we will get our groove back very shortly though, its hard to feel amourous with a toddler inbetween you.

TheMoistWorldOfSeptimusQuench · 30/07/2010 16:01

Ah, I see

Nothing to add, I'm afraid. To the best of my knowledge I've never been with a guy who was turned on by facy dress.

(makes mental note to ask new man )

Nemofish · 30/07/2010 16:06

Dh once jumped out at me wearing a boilersuit and a black balaclava - I have a kinky thing for both items of clothing.

I laughed my arse off at him - it was the attempt at a sexy 'Rarrgh!' that did it for me, just not in the way he had hoped. He then looked all crestfallen, which was even funnier!

Thanks for the link Malificence

What is it with men and heels, it's a common theme it would seem?

I got jumped trying on my new heels is there some reason for it, anyone know?

LordPanofthePeaks · 30/07/2010 17:54

Heels - it's the shape of leg effect (obv.) and the direct implication that you are of a spirit to be 'entertained', as the common handle of these shoes indicates.

heels - yes I am a sucker for them I'm afraid.

secunda · 30/07/2010 21:58

Humph. I love dressing up but DP, while appreciative, much prefers me being natural. Isn't bothered about heels. I have a proper corset which he quite likes but his favourite thing is me wearing no underwear. Cheaper I guess, but a bit dull
