BMD is birth/marriage/death. Usually referring to certificates which on a genealogy forum should be pretty obvious really

Sorry to be pedantic, but I doubt sperm tastes of anything, it doesn't flavour semen, having tasted before and after vasectomy semen, there is no discernable difference.

Mal - that's the word I was looking for! Thanks. When I wrote the OP, I didn't want to say cum (makes me think of porn), so I tried the next best word ie. sperm (English is not my 1st language). You are quite right - I would imagine that sperm is tasteless. I was going to surprise dh by swallowing next time, but goodness, warm, slightly salted porridge?
