My daughter wants to listen to a song.. and we cant remember who sings it or how it goes!

The video we do remember though... a young girl and boy.. neighbours, at their windows writing messages to each other. He asks if she is going to the School Ball.. She says no. But does turn up

I think it's Taylor Swift - You Belong To Me - that bit about writing messages at the window rings a bell. Is she all geeky with glasses on and then when she turns up at the ball she is incredibly glamorous?
