I am not listening, though I'd planned to, (usually a today girl) as am having to watch peppa pig instead but I watched the ad yesterday, with Tel in his kitchen yesterday and I thought god imagine how nervous evans must be those are BIG old shoes to fill

I'm going to turn over now, also have Peppa in the background. I expect he's a bit nervous, plus his style was always a bit shouty.

Me too. There is something insincere in his voice. I find Chris Evans too OTT for the mornings. I know I need to be dragged out of my bed in the morning but that is too much for me. I also find Simon Mayo too laid back for the evening slot.

The only one I can listen to is Danny Baker on BBC London radio there is some fun and interesting stuff too.

He's reverting to type isn't he? Now he thinks he's been fully restored as the Great British Public's poppet, he's reverted to slightly humiliating his (urgh) "posse" ie Johnny is definitely in his pay. .
