He hasn't gone yet. Dad thought it would be sometime over Christmas but so far no.

Ah thanks! Thought I must have missed it.

I'll miss Phil. He was one of the few characters that didn't have me throwing things at the radio (not that I'd stop listening to The Archers, of course!)
