I'm signing in. I didn't realise until I looked in the Christmas Radio Times, that Sir Terry isn't even doing his usual Christmas Day show, so Friday really is it as his last show.
Don't know what I'm going to listen to in the mornings during the school run now. Really not a Chris Evans person at any time of day.

UnquietDad · 13/12/2009 16:32

I know. We are considering returning to the Today programme!

CybilServant · 13/12/2009 16:34

Well I've been dabbling with Steve Allen on LBC but he is so caustic and bitchy you really have to be in the mood for it.

Not a Chris Evans fan either

Today programme? John Humphries and his 'Many Thanks....'

Perhaps I will switch pc on and listen to Danny Baker from the day before

UnquietDad · 13/12/2009 16:37

We used to listen to Today years ago - it always exhausted me in the mornings, to be honest, to hear all those foreign politicians giving as good as they got in perfect English at 7.15am.

Does anyone hear Ball on R2 on a weekend morning? Jesus, that woman can prattle. It's non-stop yak-yak-screech-yak-yak... Zoe, dear, you are on the RADIO, you do not need to SHOUT>

CybilServant · 13/12/2009 16:40

Yes she certainly has VD. (Verbal Diarhorrea) But she is about to have a baby so wil be replaced for a bit. Chris Evans is a male version of her actually.

Did you see Tezza getting 'interviewed' by Johnathan Ross on friday night? Terry said about 4 words

UnquietDad · 13/12/2009 16:42

Really CS? She's about to have a baby? I... goodness, I must have missed that. She surely hasn't mentioned it at all?

CybilServant · 13/12/2009 16:43

lol.

Do you know why she called her first born WOODY?

UnquietDad · 13/12/2009 16:43

I dread to think. Toy Story?...

CybilServant · 13/12/2009 16:45

Ohh if only t'were that innocent.

No I read her and 'Norm' thought it would be hilarious to call him Woody, as in 'Wood He Fuck?!' That was in her stetson wearing Jack Daniels swilling days

UnquietDad · 13/12/2009 16:49

Of course he is now Woody Cook, which already sounds as if he has his work ready as the presenter for some future sleb culinary extravaganza on BBC3.

cornsilklikeshumous · 13/12/2009 16:51

Woody Cook. You get anticipate the teasing in his teenage years.

CybilServant · 13/12/2009 16:55

CybilServant · 13/12/2009 16:56
