Norman Painting - Phil Archer - has died

Whilst not unexpected I gues as his health has been poor and his appearences on the Archers infrequent of late I feel very sad about this news.

Such a marvellous voice, a great character and a key part of a piece of radio history.

RIP Norman.

Its sad isn't it. I feel sad in the same way that I did when Humph died.
