What a moving programme.

Haven't cried at a radio programme for ages but this has set me off.

Interesting though.

I was about to post on this! It was very interesting, yes. Appalling how brutal and unimaginative the attitudes towards disabled babies were just a few decades ago (and I'm sure someone will say they're still as bad now).

Actually Mamahobgoblin,I think I cried so much because having a disabled child now I have to say that my experiences have mainly been positive and the help has been excellent.It was just so sad what a lot of the families went through in those days.
