I LOVE Ed Reardon - just sublime. So pleased there is someone else out there who listens to it.

...Ed Reardon, eh?

Had forgotten about him since he won Pot Black in 1979.....

puppydavies · 10/11/2008 21:41

from other threads i've encountered you both on i'd have you pegged for women of discernment, with excellent taste.

now i know you're raving fools. i heard ed reardon this morning for the first time, it was utter tripe :P

MaryAnnSingleton · 10/11/2008 21:51

YES! It was brilliant today. I love it.

jeanjeannie · 11/11/2008 07:55

Utter tripe? Sounds like something Ed himself would have said

finknottle · 12/11/2008 09:50

Funny, I avoided it as I thought it would be rubbish but listened to it yesterday & was laughing as well at the 'bookies, Thresher's, bookies again'.
Also the 'throwing Chesil Beach' at Mark Kermode.

MaryAnnSingleton · 12/11/2008 10:12

'tis genius

jeanjeannie · 12/11/2008 14:38

Aye - 'tis indeed genius. If my cat wasn't already named Bob I'd call it Elgar in tribute

katch · 17/11/2008 10:46

I always forget to notice when it's on, but it makes me snort out loud. The one about the tax return was beyond hilarious.

MaryAnnSingleton · 17/11/2008 12:06

OP posts:
MaryAnnSingleton · 17/11/2008 15:22

jeanjeannie · 17/11/2008 20:28

Ah no - I was just about to listen to it on I-Player - or whatever the fangled interweb thingy is called. So - will he take up his lovely daughter's idea of a sheltered home....?
