Woman's Hour and Jane Garvey...

Have been working at my desk and listening to Woman's Hour - I really like Jane Garvey presenting..she is funny and slightly reminds me of Fi Glover.

I'm sure. My brother is living in oz now so doesnt catch up with her that often anymore - I like to live vicariously and asked him if he knew any gossip but he didnt - dont think he'd tell me if he did tbh he's rubbish like that!

Hannah - Fi didn't have children with her husband. He ran off with Victoria Derbyshire not that long after they married. She has just had 2nd child with her current partner- he was with her looking at paintings on one of the Apprentice tasks when Tre talked a lot of bs. Her partner is tall with a beard.

They have both denied it but he keeps turning up at Strictly to gaze adoringly at Christine every Saturday - and he appears on It Takes Two to support her - but no sight of her boyfriend.

That's funny - I think VD (apt) is a rubbish presenter (thick, predictable, no gravitas) whereas I really like Aasmah.

I only know Kathryn Flett from her TV review in the Observer, which I usually read and sometimes agree with and her column in the magazine which I rarely read.

Have you noticed the pithy comments she comes out with in view of the fact her dh left her?It makes me warm to her.She did it today,she said something like trust me there is something worse (than a life time of marriage)She must have been referring to her dhs rejection.I think she is brave and lovely,I`m a huge fan.

Oh, I don't like either Fo Glover or Jane Garvey, they both sound to me as though they are poking fun at their guests rather than laughing with them. I feel bad now that I know they've both been dumped for other women, will try to like them more.

I dont think it is deffo,just rumours. I still think she sounds very hurt tho. She keeps making little mistakes,as if she is under a strain.She seems a very decent person to me,I love her voice.I dont think she pokes fun at her guests,I dont like anything like that.I wish they would have a few working class people interviewing.I can only think of Winifred Robinson,I dont even know if she is working class,I just like her voice.
