Anyone else find the theme tune just awful? There may be diamonds hidden in the dirt in his program, but that dreadful “ angelic” chant makes me rush to the radio to turn it off. Matthew if you are reading, ditch the tune.

I also usually turn it off the moment the chanting starts, but did end up listening to the lesbian leather museum/archive episode. I'm confused but the format though. It sounds like he doesn't interview these people himself - it's someone else's radio documentary, interspersed with his vocalised thoughts? It feels like filler and he's detracting from the original.

I can't remember the theme tune, which is clearly good. I quite like the programme, though. He's covered some interesting things.

It's a programme I actively don't listen to because of the presenter.
