On Desert Island Discs. Absolutely killing it with her music choices. Ten out of ten.

She's a bit giggly though. Not sure if it's nerves

Love her choice of luxury - a conker. And choice of disc to save - Whitney - greatest love of all

Tunes where generally great and unpretentious

She is a giggler.
I’ve recently watched her episode of “The Assembly” and listened to her on Ant & Dec’s podcast.
I’ll have to give this a listen, I do love her attitude to life

She was funny (sword, coconut and conkers) and her and Lauren seemed to get on really well. She didn't give amassive amount away, but what she said was obviously heart felt snd family obviously means a lot to her. Best one for ages. Didn't like last weeks (can't remember who it was but I felt sort of disgruntled after listening to it)

I know there was a recent episode that was truly depressing - but I can’t recall who it was.

Yes, i thought the same 10/10 really enjoyed choice of music and came over as very genuine funny and engaging person. Lot of passion about SEN / child support which I loved.

Made me want to be friends with her! She just seemed so lovely and well balanced.

Recent episodes:
Jo Nesbø, writer
Anna Maxwell Martin, actor
Peter Layton, artist
Guy Martin, presenter and former motorcycle racer
Emily Watson, actor
Gary O'Donoghue, journalist
David Morrissey, actor
...

I heard the David Morrissey one. I deliberately listened because he's a brilliant actor and I watched the first programme he appeared in.

The Gary O'Donoghue just happened to be on but it was very good.

Heard a bit of the Anna Maxwell Martin one.

Were the others good?

IAmTheBloodyGrandma · Yesterday 15:23

I could't handle the constant giggling. I'm afraid I stopped listening.

I might try again!
