I've listened to various of Julian Simpson's radio plays linking to Pleasant Green - love Mythos, enjoyed Aldrich Kemp but got a bit silly - can't get on with Lovecraft sadly.
Which others are available somewhere? Anyone have views on which are best? I've seen rumours of another Mythos episode coming out, would love to know if that's correct.

And is there any sort of link to Welcome to Our Village please Invade Carefully - the village being Cresdon Green. Is it the same writer or a pal, or is Pleasant Green a wider myth outside radio?

I'm a huge fan of Julian Simpson. He has a newsletter you can subscribe to on his website.https://www.cartoongravity.com/author/julian/

There is no link between Mythos and the other radio programme you mentioned.

Have you heard his radio drama Bad Memories? Very creepy and the last series of Lovecraft linked to it. No new series of Mythos coming but he's been crowdfunding for a new series of Lovecraft as the BBC won't commission anymore (idiots).

You say you couldn't get on with Lovecraft. But they are set within the Pleasant Green universe, so I recommend you persevere 🙂

I also found Lovecraft a bit hard to get into, but it links to Pleasant Green more over time and starts to makes more sense.

Also I think Julian's real life wife plays Kennedy Fisher (Jana Carpenter), and the Shadow Over Innsmouth was recorded during covid presumably at their joint home, which adds an extra bit of interest for me (radio nerd alert...).

It’s not linked to the Pleasant Green universe but Julian Simpson also created and co-wrote an excellent sci if drama on Audible called Temporal that stars Nicola Walker, Jana Carpenter, Phoebe Fox and others.
