Yes - I listened to this last week. What did you think?

I loved it, I’ll watch the film now I think. I was vaguely aware of the story, but didn’t realise episode 2 was the end (was pottering around while listening so didn’t give it 100%).
What did you think?

I enjoyed it but was surprised by abruptness of the the ending, I thought there would be a longer ‘battle’.

Ah, so I wasn't off the mark thinking there would be more episodes.
Now I'll have to watch the film to see how true to it the adaptation was!

Just listened to it, I haven’t seen the film. I thought the ending was rather abrupt too, as if they'd run out of broadcasting time.
joanne reminded me of Helen in the Archers - everything's about her and her wants. I'm glad the ending was the way it was after all the messing about.
