Old enough to remember Kenny Everett?

Radio 4 Ex have been broadcasting some of his old shows from the 70s. Plus there have been some programmes with people reminiscing about him.

It just brought so many memories, he was a major part of the soundtrack to my teenage years.

Aw yeah, I’m 46 and I remember Kenny Everett, he was brilliant :)

Oh he was so funny. I was only talking about him the other day, his skit on Rod Stuart's trousers can still make me smile.

All done in the best possible taste!

He was brilliant - way ahead of his time in comedy style.

I used to love his TV show & Cupid Stunt. It was sad how he died.

I can't get past the fact he not only was a Tory party supporter but an admirer of Margaret Thatcher.
I can still remember his disgusting parody of Michael Foot.
SoI really can't remember him with any fondness at all.

I could never listen to him again after that "Let's kick Michael Foot's stick away!" comment.

I adored him before that. Apparently he later said it was something he regretted but too late

I'm 50 and remember him well. I didn't dislike him at all, but his comedy was never to my taste. I was more into Rik Mayall, Ade Edmondson, Ben Elton, Hugh Laurie, and Stephen Fry.
