The hidden scandal of Power of Attorney - how one man controls the finances of scores of vulnerable people.

This is just awful, although I have to admit compelling listening.

This continues to be a complete shocker. Also, the plot thickens:

I’ve listened to 5 episodes so far but need to take a break for a day or so as it’s really upsetting. The thought of someone ‘within the law’ controlling someone else’s money without the need for clarity on charges/costs is horrendous & awful. The care homes & social services appear to aid access to these vulnerable people.

Listening now.
.it's a massive conflict of interest that the care home are in cahoots with the lawyer.

This is massive fraud surely

The firm concerned has a notice on its website saying it's all lies and no-one approached them. Interesting.

The law can't seriously think anyone believes their statement can they? Its ridiculous, are they suggesting that all the stories featured are made up, that the ordinary folk telling what happened are what, actors? Liars? All of them?

I can't quite put my finger on it but this is giving me Harold Shipman vibes

I read that Craybeck have engaged a PR firm, if you're reading this please apply the utmost critical questioning

There's another story connected to this on the BBC site today. Truly shocking but so many questions still. Who is Amy's parent - presumably Barbara's daughter. But absent from the whole story.
