Replacement for Google Podcasts?

I'm really missing Google Podcasts since it was discontinued and can't seem to get on with the other main apps available.

Just wondering if anyone has tried any other particular podcast platforms and would recommend?

Have you tried Pocket Casts? Would definitely recommend.

I never used Google Podcasts so can't compare, but Pocket Casts does everything I want

I've been having the same issue. I don't understand why they got rid of it.

Closest I've found so far on android is 'podcast player' it's got a purple icon.

Thanks all. I've tried Podbean, Pocket Casts and Podcast Addict. Think I'm just being picky as what I really want is Google Podcasts!
Will check out Podcast Player next.
