Pop/Synth Pop.

Guessing you'd like the Buggles/80s as well.

Steal My Sunshine was influenced by 80s synth pop although it was an alt-rock band.

How Bizarre is “Speak-singing”, a bit like the guy in The Love Shack.
I like the speak singing in Driving Away From Home.

Whenever we hear “Drinking in LA” on the radio, it goes something like this:

Radio: Hi, I’m stereo mic

Us: ‘ello stereo mic.

Usually in something roughly approximating a Yorkshire accent.

Thanks all - not sure there really is a name for it?

I've thought of another - it goes something like "every morning there's a rainbow hanging from my bed" or something like that!?

? (You Steal My Sunshine?) Both of those are described as alternative rock songs from the 90’s. Hope that helps.

Yea great song! So uplifting!
