Which podcast platform

[hardhat]

I've been using the Google podcast app for years - it was pre-installed on my phone. It is being retired in the new year so I need a new one - can anyone recommend an all-purpose platform? For reasons I can't quite remember, I'm opposed to Spotify

I use Downcast, easy to navigate and no issues. There's a small one off fee, couple of quid from memory.

Oh, thank you, that sounds reasonable. Do you have to listen to a load of ads too?

No, not that I’ve noticed to be honest. If there are any adverts I hit fast forward for 30 seconds.

I use Ovetcast. The ads are in the podcasts themselves, and you can hit +30.

I like Podcast Addict but it's not very beautiful.

And I thought we were on all platforms 😂
