Awesome podcast, anyone else listened?

I have just binged the whole thing and wondered if anyone was talking about it. It was such a sad listen but very gripping. It does make you wonder how much Meg’s mum caused her death. They said the safeguarding adult report was delayed because they were seeing if any criminal charges could be brought.

It does make you wonder how common Munchausens is.

How has Jean got away with this though???

And I'm fascinated by Megan's role in this. How much was down to grooming & how much her own idea?

It's a very murky story.

It's a really good podcast. I've not got to the end yet but I think there are a lot of people on MN could do with listening to it.

I thought the sisters were dodgy too.
They had proof she didn’t have a tumour. The know their mum was manipulative, and capable of hurting her own children- why didn’t they contact social services? They seemed happy to be vindicated but no sadness over their sister.

I find it extraordinary that so many people knew there were issues and no one said anything

I think there are also a load of professionals who are swerving accountability for safeguarding a child - which is what she was most of the time.
