Just listened to the first 3 episodes of Girls - Next Level - with Holly & Bridget from The Girls Next Door/playboy mansion reality show back in the early 2000s.

Really easy listening and engaging conversation, I liked hearing the background to the reality show and how they view things now 20 years on. Wondered if anyone else is listening & wanted a thread?

I know this was from last year, but yep!! Listened since day one and lovely Mondays when the new episode drops

I'm looking forward to when/if they get to the last series they were in and how it all went down with the new girlfriends.

I find it odd Hef never married Holly given he later got married again.

Its surprising to me that Bridget sees things a lot more positively regarding her time at the mansion than Holly does.

For sure I hope they make it to the final season and discuss the new girls in more detail. They touched on it a bit when they interviewed Anastasia and she said when she was packing up Brigette's room the twins kept coming in as they wanted the room.

I love Brigette and agree she sees it all very positively. I still can't work Holly out. On the show she always seemed to have a fakeness to her, and I guess she would say that's because she was putting on a show as things weren't great behind the scenes, but even on the podcast she says some things and I'm a bit

I want them to get into season 2 and when the tension begins with Kendra!!

I know what you mean. I think it might just be the way she speaks or maybe just feels defensive after years of intrusive questions?

I thought they all got on even until after the show finished & it was Kendra's book that made them fall out but perhaps it did start earlier, they do seem quite different types of people so can see they might not naturally have been friends. In Kendra's book she said her acne made her unwilling to be filmed a lot so can imagine that made it hard for the others to work around, but will be interested to see how it all worked out.

Their podcast goes at such a slow pace (eg sometimes 2 podcasts per episode) its going to be years before they get through all the episodes 😂I'd like it if they got more guests on like some of the staff, or older ex girlfriends.

Haha I know! And then you throw in special guest episodes and this podcast could last years!!

You're right, sometimes it is just how Holly speaks, it can come across as a bit harsh or abrasive.

I do love their Q&A episodes, so many questions and I want to hear more, but I refuse to sign up to their Patreon account for more content!

Their curfew was one of the big things for me to learn, when Brigette went home for her granddads funeral and Hef was annoyed she was gone for so long as it was thanksgiving, that's so controlling!

It does sound like it all got very strange at the mansion at the end, sad to think he got cut off and isolated from his life long friends if that wasn't of his own choosing. Would love them to dive into that more too!

Yes I think it'll be really interesting to find out how it all ended for them leaving the relationship & moving out

Didnt they do a photoshoot right at the end when they already would have had new boyfriends?

I liked the recent interview with one of the painted ladies, I want them to find more people like that, one of the butlers for example would be good
