Recommendations please

Late to the party I know but I'm just getting in to podcasts, typically listen to them when I'm driving (about 1-2hrs a day) and also while doing chores around the house.

I'd love some recommendations please in the following categories:

• current affairs but not mainstream news, similar to The Week Unwrapped

• true crime - loving the casefile ones so far

• showbiz/gossipy ones - where can I hear a good chat about love island etc!?

Any other must listens? Not too fussed about health/wellness/fashion/travel!

If you're going in a flight try Alan Carr's Life's a Beach to get you in the mood.

I enjoy discovers Redhanded which is two 20-something women talking you through a different crime each week.

Crime Junkie ( mostly American, but very engaging and thorough)
They walk among us ( UK true crime - great research but speed it up to 1.5 as they guy talks ridiculously sloooowly.)
All Killer no filler ( early stuff only - gone off the boil a lot lately.)

The Guardian Today in Focus often has really interesting current affairs topics

I strongly recommend Standard Issue which covers everything female from sport to culture and is very engaging.
