Friday evenings on Radio 4. I enjoy listening to it. I can even forgive Cerys Matthews for not pronouncin the g in words endin in ng
She comes across as knowledgeable and likeable

I really enjoyed it, and I say that as someone who normally dislikes R4 music programmes. I enjoy Wireless Nights too, but ATPL was a delight

I can't listen to most music-themed programmes (e.g. Soul Music) on R4 but I really enjoy this.

Yes it's MUCH better than soul music, which in theory sounds a good idea but in practise I always find rather wanting. It's too sentimental, too focussed on individual stories, I think. And I love a good cry normally!
