Good news. Series 2 currently being repeated on Wednesdays, 11.30am. One on Sounds at the moment, three more to come. www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b08t17yt/episodes/player This is the one with Stephanie Cole (as Queen Victoria) and Kerry Godliman. #4 is Penguin Diplomacy! They're all good but that one I recall was particularly special.

Yesterday's was excellent! So glad this is on again.

Today's, just finished, was one of the most enjoyable 30 minutes of radio I've heard in ages:

As a bonus it has Julia McKenzie being utterly charming.

Wasn't it lovely! Julia McKenzie was excellent.

Oh I must listen to these- I'm a big Finnemore fan but have never managed to catch this series!

WhoppingBigBackside · 11/11/2021 13:02

She was. I only caught it by accident so need to catch up with the rest of the series

Another good one this morning:

with Una Stubbs playing to her strengths. We miss you Una.

These are great! I wonder how I missed them first time round (in 2017).

Series finished today. I liked that one (Michael Palin and John Finnemore himself), but I think my absolute favourite of this series is Penguin Diplomacy, which went out last week. I hope they stay in iplayer for a while.

Did anyone clock the Cabin Pressure-based questions on University
Challenge tonight? I got the first and the third, but couldn't remember the place in Spain where they did the emergency landing.

Surely when a radio programme turns up on UC, that's true fame.
