What should I listen to next? They were perfect length to listen to one episode a day (30min drive to work and 30min back again) and I love history.

Egham oddities: the Egham Museum podcast is quite good though it could do with an edit IMO. Each edition they take one quirky object from the collection and discuss it. Ask an archaeologist was not bad too.

Enjoying Natalie Haynes stands up for the classics (R4).

If you love history, try Dan Snow's History Hit. As a spin off from that I've been loving History Hit : Gone Medieval recently as it's the area I'm into at the moment.

I’ve started listening to Not Just The Tudors which is presented by Suzannah Lipscomb.

The Rest is History with Tom Holland and Dominic Sandbrook.

Neil Oliver's "A love letter to the British Isles" is well worth a listen.

History is Sexy is a bit longer, but picks some interesting topics and is nicely irreverent.

The Rest is History is a to the right of History is Sexy and a little more serious. But they talk around a subject and the significance of it rather than just dry facts.

99% Invisible is US and nominally about design, but really is about history and people and often picks up stuff you don't know about.
